2. Description of Service

Matteca is a personal life-tracking application that allows you to log daily habits, health metrics, work productivity, finances, and other personal data. The service includes AI-powered chat, analytics dashboards, streak tracking, and optional third-party work tool integrations.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use Matteca.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure
• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the AI assistant

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Matteca. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely to provide the service to you.

6. Third-Party Integrations

Matteca allows you to connect third-party services (Jira, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Notion, Smartsheet). These integrations are governed by the respective third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services. You authorize Matteca to access your data on these platforms as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. AI Assistant

The Matteca AI assistant is provided as a convenience for logging data and reviewing progress. AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate. The AI assistant does not provide medical, financial, or professional advice. You should not rely on the AI assistant for health, financial, or other critical decisions.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Matteca available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

Matteca is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
